Niteshift is now generally available — read the announcement.
Features
- Codex goals: Niteshift now supports Codex's
/goalcommand. Set a persistent objective once and Codex keeps working toward it across turns — checking its own progress against real evidence like tests and logs instead of stopping after each reply.
- Account default model: Set a default model and reasoning effort once in Settings → AI Models,
and Niteshift uses it everywhere a task starts without an explicit pick — GitHub
@niteshiftdevmentions, autofix, Slack, and Linear.
UX Improvements
-
Test a scheduled automation right away with the new Run Now action in the automation list.
-
Redesigned the app sidebar with a cleaner layout and search moved up top.
Bug Fixes
-
Repositories no longer go stale after switching organizations.
-
Saving an environment variable with a reserved name (like one starting with
NITESHIFT_) now shows a clear error instead of silently failing to save.
