• Start a task from a GitHub issue: Comment /niteshift <request> or @niteshiftdev <request> on an issue and Niteshift picks the work up from the issue itself, replies there with a link to the task, and opens a pull request that closes it. Later comments on the same issue go to the same task.

• Agents now write pull request descriptions using your repository's own pull_request_template.md, filling in its sections and checklist.

• Background task controls: When Claude is running in the background, you can now view and stop individual background tasks from the new strip above the message composer. By default, background tasks run for up to 2 hours, and you can set their maximum runtime from 30 minutes to 24 hours in Task Settings when creating a new task.

• Individual settings are now searchable in Quicksearch. Press ⌘K, search by name or description, and jump directly to the right setting, with each result showing whether it's personal, repository, or organization scoped.

• Niteshift now warns you a few days before your Claude sign-in expires. When sign-in expires, you can renew in one click without having to connect from scratch.

• Each shared API key now has its own fallback switch, so your team can use the shared Claude key without also sharing Codex or Cursor. Personal credentials always take precedence.

• Screenshots and videos captured by Codex tasks now appear in the task's highlights filmstrip.

• Cursor and Grok tasks now follow your repository's AGENTS.md, so every coding agent automatically uses your project's conventions.
